Six types of connecting rod components for Komatsu bulldozers.

Jun 27, 2024

Komatsu bulldozer is a common construction machinery widely used in various earthwork construction, road construction, mining and other occasions. Its track link part is one of the indispensable components in the operation of the entire machine, with a beautiful contour shape and sturdy and durable materials, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the machine in harsh environments. Now, let's introduce six types of connecting rod components in the track link section of Komatsu bulldozers.
1. Drive gear
The drive gear is the power source of the Komatsu bulldozer, which is connected to the engine and transmits energy to the sprockets on both sides of the track through the transmission system, thereby driving the entire machine forward or backward.
2. Bearings
Bearings are important components that connect the drive wheels and track sprockets. They can withstand external forces from the track chain, while also possessing high load-bearing capacity and rotational sensitivity.
3. Connecting rod
The connecting rod is an important component of connecting bearings and sprockets, which bears the tension and thrust from the chain. While ensuring strength and stiffness, it also needs to ensure the flexibility between the connecting rods to adapt to different working situations.
4. Intermediate wheel
The intermediate wheel is the load-bearing part of the Komatsu bulldozer track system, located between the tracks and connected to the track sprocket through bearings and connecting rods. The middle wheel is made of high-quality steel and high-strength casting, with a chrome plated surface to prevent rust and corrosion. It can also withstand large loads and ensure the adaptability of the machine to the ground.
5. Chain wheel
The sprocket is the core component of the Komatsu bulldozer track system, which is closely connected to the track chain and connected to the drive gear and intermediate wheel through bearings and connecting rods. The sprocket is made of high hardness alloy steel, with a surface that has been quenched and precision processed to withstand high pressure from chain forces, while also possessing high wear resistance and durability.
6. Track chain
The track chain is one of the most core parts of the Komatsu bulldozer track system. It is connected through bearings and sprockets, carrying the entire body and generating friction with the ground, thereby ensuring the stability and smoothness of the machine during construction.
